Applications for UV-cure technology are numerous and rapidly growing. They currently include industrial printing, labels and packaging, signage / graphic arts, direct mail and transactional documents, decorative laminates, textiles, wall and floor coverings, material deposition, printed circuits and electronic displays.
UV-cure technology offers number of advantages to include instant drying, no VOC emissions, high outdoor durability and excellent abrasion resistance on broadest set of substrates. UV LED curing is not only addressing the issues associated with traditional mercury UV lamps, but is also enabling many new applications with optimized chemistries to achieve highest performance.
